FONGISAFE
Fongisafe is an acid preservative designed for use when fungal risk is high, particularly when ensiling conditions are difficult. It is especially effective for securing silo faces, silo surfaces, hay and straw, maize silage, immature cereal silage, moist cereals, and mixed rations mainly composed of maize silage and hay.

Protecting against fungal risk for effective preservation
Some forages are more prone to fungal risks. The development of moulds and yeasts can lead to the production of mycotoxins that are harmful to ruminants and may then be found in their feed. Silo losses, reduced palatability and lower performance are all significant consequences. This is why Fongisafe has been formulated with propionic acid, particularly in esterified form. This form is less volatile, improving user comfort and product persistence, for a longer-lasting effect.
