VITAFLUSH
Reproduction and calving place significant demands on cows. An adequate vitamin and trace element status helps prepare them for these key stages.
VITAFLUSH is a complementary dietetic feed designed to support preparation for oestrus and reproduction. Its formula combines protected vitamins, chelated trace elements, organic selenium and grape extracts.
- Preparing for reproduction and calving
- Supporting natural defences
- Helping meet vitamin and trace element requirements
- Supporting cows during periods of high physiological demand
Nutrition objective: support for preparation for oestrus and reproduction
Packaging: 25 kg bag and 15 kg bucket
Presentation: 3.2 mm pellets on a high-quality cereal-based carrier.
VITAFLUSH,
Preparing cows for reproduction and calving
VITAFLUSH provides a targeted supply of vitamins and trace elements to support cows during key stages of the reproductive cycle.
- Highly available trace elements: zinc, manganese and copper in chelated form, combined with organic selenium, to optimise their absorption by the animal.
- Vitamins in protected forms: rumen-protected vitamins A, D and E, and encapsulated vitamins C and E, to support the body’s antioxidant defences.
- The formula is also enriched with grape extracts, a natural source of antioxidants.
Trace elements and vitamins play an important role in reproductive cycles. Avoid excesses, but above all, prevent deficiencies.
VITAFLUSH for dairy cows
Supporting periods of high physiological demand
In dairy cows, successful reproduction depends in particular on an appropriate nutritional status. Vitamins and trace elements are involved in many physiological functions, and their supply must be sufficiently balanced to meet the animal’s requirements.
VITAFLUSH can be incorporated into the herd’s nutritional management programme to support natural defences and prepare cows for the different stages of the reproductive cycle. Its protected and highly available forms provide additional targeted nutritional support when requirements are particularly high.
A nutritional approach that helps prepare cows for successful reproduction.
VITAFLUSH for suckler cows
Anticipating nutritional needs around calving
Suckler cows may spend 7 to 10 months at pasture, during which mineral supplementation can sometimes be limited or even absent. As calving approaches, some cows may therefore have an insufficient vitamin and trace element status.
The aim is to anticipate and rebalance nutritional intake beforehand, in order to prepare the animal for this key stage. Appropriate supplementation helps support the key challenges associated with calving, calf vitality and subsequent conception.
VITAFLUSH therefore has a natural place in the nutritional preparation of suckler cows around calving, as a complement to the herd’s mineral management programme.
Our recommendations for use
For dairy cows, replacement heifers, suckler cows and adult goats. Do not use in sheep due to the presence of copper.
VITAFLUSH can be mixed into the ration and is recommended during late gestation, early lactation and when animals return to housing.
The use of VITAFLUSH does not replace adequate supplementation with macro-minerals (Ca, P, Mg, Na).
